Eleven students and alumni from Creative Space Beirut worked with scent and touch, building objects that extend beyond their form. Pieces filled with dried flowers, fabrics soaked in essential oils, creating surfaces that draw the body closer. An open invitation to escape, in the middle of yet another war in Lebanon.

Beirut, 2026

A city so hectic, under immense pressure and continuous uncertainty.

Experiencing Beirut happens through an overwhelming environment, one that seeps through every sense. In this context, offering serenity is a powerful act of disruption. An escape from the stifling reality polluting the air. As the strongest trigger of memory, scent has the power to transport, disarm, and awaken.

Wonderfarts was imagined as a tactile portal. Combining scent and touch to momentarily drift beyond the noise, be transported to a place of peace and wonder.

Pressure becomes perfume

Impact becomes softness

Violence meets care

Seven objects, made to be touched, inhaled and surrended to.

Built from deadstock textiles, natural flowers, herbs, and soap from Khan Al Saboun.
